Any information we collect from you is a necessary part of your assessment and diagnosis. We require demographic details to allow us to contact you with appointment reminders or in the rare case of appointment cancellations.

You may access any of the information that we hold on you, at any time. You just need to submit a written request and we will provide that information as soon as we are able to do so.
How long will you keep my information?
We are legally required to keep any patient information for a minimum of 8 years.
Can I change my information?
Yes! We are required to keep your information up to date and accurate. Please notify us of any change to your personal details, such as address, telephone number etc.
Do you share my information with any other organisations?
Sometimes we need to refer you to another professional or discuss aspects of your condition with your GP or consultant. In these cases, we will discuss this with you in advance to ensure that you are happy for us to do so. If you have been referred via an insurance company we may have to share information with them as part of your contract with them. We do not sell your information with anyone for marketing purposes.
What steps do you take to keep my information secure?
All of your clinical records are kept securely within the clinic in locked cabinets. The room is also kept locked at all times when no therapist is present.
Your demographic details and appointments are kept on a secure, password protected, practice management system online and we also use a secure password protected exercise programme. Only authorised personnel have access to this information.
