About Lorna
Lorna is an experienced Physiotherapist and the owner of Physiotherapy & Wellbeing Perth. She qualified in 2004 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and is a member of the CSP and HCPC. She spent the first part of her career working in the NHS, gaining experience in a wide range of specialties including Neurology, Oncology, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Out-Patients. Alongside her NHS work, she worked for private clinics and spent 4 years working with a premiership rugby team in Edinburgh.
Since 2008, Lorna has specialised in Musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedics and sports injuries. In addition to private clinics, she has worked for IPRS, Nuffield and as the Lead Physiotherapist at BMI Fernbrae Hospital, she was responsible for running the Physiotherapy Department and the delivery of Manual Handling training to staff.
Lorna has completed many post-graduate training courses, including APPI Pilates, Acupuncture, Taping and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Having passed the diploma exams, she is also a member of the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine (previously known as the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine).
Outwith work: Lorna enjoys running, Pilates, long walks and spending time with her family and friends.

Jen graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2005 and prior to this completed an honours degree in Applied Sport Science.
She has worked mainly in the Musculoskeletal field of physio for the past 20 years in various different settings. She initially worked within the NHS before spending 5 years working in a private clinic in the French Alps, she then worked for several years with the British army both in the UK and in Germany.
Throughout her career she has also worked with athletes both in clinic settings and on the road and has completed several loops of the Tour de France working with amateur cyclists. Jen returned to the NHS 8 years ago and has been working as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner since then, working in Musculoskeletal Out Patients, Minor Injuries and within GP practices. She continues to work in the NHS and currently works as a First Contact Practitioner within a GP practice.
In addition to her clinical work, she has taught a number of different courses including sports taping, sports first aid and massage as well as teaching on the musculoskeletal aspect of the Advanced Clinical Examination course at the University of Stirling. She has also presented on two occasions at the World Extreme Medicine Conference.
Jen has undertaken post graduate courses in Pilates, acupuncture, manual therapy and exercise therapy.
Outside of work: She is a keen runner and cyclist, as well as skier when conditions or holidays allow!

About Alessia
Alessia is an experienced and dedicated Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist, with over 8 years of experience in therapeutic and holistic bodywork. Alessia recently qualified in Advanced remedial massage, at The Advanced Massage Technique School in West Linton (Scotland). She continues to build on her knowledge by attending courses in Deep Tissue, Indian Head Massage, Cupping Therapy for Sports Rehabilitation, Manually Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology.
As an experienced advanced Therapist, Alessia’s main interest now is to provide a good quality, health-benefitting massages in a clinical environment.
Alessia loves all things health and wellbeing related and this comes from a particular passion for strength training. Her journey in strength training started 10 years ago, and she is now a true believer that maintaining good physical strength alongside massage therapy ia a real game-changer for living a healthy and pain-free life.
Outside of work: Alessia loves to spend her free time outdoors, hiking and exploring beautiful new parts of Scotland.

About Katie
Katie is a specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, an affiliate member with the POGP alongside the CSP and HCPC . She qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University in 2018.
She spent the first 4 years of her career as a general physiotherapist in Invercargill, New Zealand where she gained experience in a variety of sports and occupational health settings with a focus on rugby and netball, being the team physio for both amateur and national level representative teams.
During this time she did further training in trigger point dry needling as well as the treatment of chronic pain. In 2020 she began specializing in Pelvic Health, completing post grad study in New Zealand and Australia.
In 2022 Katie moved to Tayside and began working for the NHS in the Pelvic Health physio team to gain experience alongside continuing training through the POGP.
Having Endometriosis herself, Katie understands the frustrations that can come with Pelvic Health issues and enjoys working together with patients to get the best outcome possible.
Outside of work: you will find Katie most often on a rugby field, playing for the Perthshire 1XV Women’s team or travelling around Europe – the real reason she moved to the UK!
